“Five Daughters!” he exclaims. What’s a poor milk man to do with five daughters? Well in the case of Tevye, the protagonist of “Fiddler on the Roof”, he loves and cares for them very much. Even when each of his eldest daughters, Tzeitel, Hodel and Chava, tests his faith and traditions, he thoughtfully examines his beliefs against the love for his children.
Playing Tevye is AMT veteran Loren Jackson (seen above). Playing his daughters are Ginny Gendron (Tzeitel), Kasi Bryant (Hodel), Jennifer Rosengrant (Chava), Brooke Casarez (Shprintze) and Marley Ham (Bielke).
AMT’s production opens this week at the Flickinger Center. Performances are July 31, August 1, 2, 7 & 8. All tickets are ten dollars.
