The art of making art…

Cast Members Ronnie Brockett and Loren Jackson practice the number “Everybody Ought to Have a Maid” from AMT’s fall production of “Putting it Together”. Though the song is originally from “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum”, the piece is used in new context for this show.  Many others songs are used in a similar way, including “Pretty Women” from “Sweeney Todd” and “Being Alive” from “Company”. Mark your calendars for the dates, October 26, 27, 28 & November 2, 3 at the Flickinger Center. You won’t want to miss out!

Painting some Signage!

Cast member Joni Castello spends some time painting the billboards for the AMT fall production of “Putting it Together”. Painting signs is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to producing a show! If you have an interest in the technical aspects of theater, AMT would like to encourage you to come out and help.  Please leave a note in the comment section below if you have a desire to get involved.

We’re “Putting it Together”! A Cast for a Sondheim Review!

AMT is pleased to announce the cast of its fall production of “PUTTING IT TOGETHER”! The small ensemble cast is made up of Ronnie Brockett, Joni Castello, Keith Dodson, Daniel Humm and Loren Jackson. The cast will showcase the songs of Stephen Sondheim,  featuring music from SWEENEY TODD, FOLLIES, A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM and the film DICK TRACY.

The show revolves around a dinner party where the songs tell a narrative of each character. As the “party” continues, the night takes on an interesting tone, exploring the many facets of relationships including the follies of dating, marriage and everything that happens in between.

CONGRATULATIONS to the cast! Come and see them perform October 26, 27, 28 & November 2, 3 at the Flickinger Center. MARK YOU CALENDARS FOR “PUTTING IT TOGETHER”!
